The Consulate General of India in Istanbul was opened in April 1994. It provides consular, commercial and cultural services. The consular services consists of issue of passports, other consular facilitations, visas for tourists, entrepreneurs, students etc. visiting India and also assistance, as required, to those Indians visiting Turkey.
